Located in the southern part of the city, Tarifa port serves as the gateway between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, offering daily connections to Morocco across the Strait of Gibraltar. It is the closest Port of Spain to Morocco (only 14 km away) and is only 10 km from Algeciras, the main port in the region with more ferry services and routes offered.The ferry departs from Tarifa and sails to the port of Tanger Ville. It operates all year long and typically lasts around one hour.
The passenger terminal at the port comprises 2 floors and is equipped with all essential amenities, including ticket counters, tourist information booths, restaurants, and more. Near the port, there is a parking facility offering 24/7 surveillance and free 30 minutes of parking.
You can get to Tarifa port directly by car, taxi, or on foot.
Alternatively, you can take one of the buses that travel from major Spanish cities to Tarifa.
Located in the southern part of Tarifa city, the port is conveniently just a 5-minute stroll away from the Medina.
Tarifa is on mileage point 84 of the N-340. Freeway N-340 leads to Tarifa from Algeciras and Cadiz. Travelers coming from Málaga have two options. First, taking the dual carriageway of the coast, through Marbella, San Roque, La Línea and Algeciras. The second, taking dual carriageway E-7 from Málaga to Algeciras and then continuing N-340 to Tarifa. From Cadiz, crossing San Fernando, travelers can continue the dual carriageway of Costa de la Luz or continue the N-340, passing through Chiclana, Conil, Vejer, Barbate, Zahara and Tarifa. You can drive along E-5 from Seville
Travel directly to Tarifa by bus from Algeciras, Cádiz, Seville, and Málaga.

The Company reserves the Company's rights to deny embarkation to any individual who, according to the best of Company's knowledge, does not appear to possess valid travel documents or fails to prove, beyond a doubt, his/her identity. In the event of a fine being imposed on the Company by the immigration office, the amount will be charged to the passenger who failed to provide the proper legal documents.
